The second planet was inhabited by a conceited man.

"What does that mean― 'admire'""To admire mean that you regard me as the handsomest, the best-dressed, the richest, and the most intelligent man on this planet.""But you are the only man on your planet!""Do me this kindness. Admire me just the same.""I admire you," said the little prince, shrugging his shoulders slightly, "but what is there in that to interest you so much"And the little prince went away.

"This is more entertaining than the visit to the king," the little prince said to himself. And he began again to clap his hands, one against the other. The conceited man against raised his hat in salute.

But the conceited man did not hear him. Conceited people never hear anything but praise.

Chapter 11

“這些大人真是非常奇特啊。”小王子持續本身的路程。

“敬佩麼，就是承認我是天下上最優良、衣服最標緻、最富有、最聰明的人。”

小王子拍起巴掌來。這位傲慢自大者謙遜地舉起帽子向小王子請安。

小王子達到的第二個行星上，住著一個傲慢自大的人。

The little prince clapped his hands. The conceited man raised his hat in a modest salute.
